Fall Packages at Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson
As the leaves begin to change and the air gets crisp, Tarrytown House Estate on the Hudson is getting ready for fall in Westchester with special fall travel packages to celebrate the season. The 26-acre hotel with 19th century mansions overlooking the Hudson River offers its “Blaze” package and “Horseman’s Hollow” package right in time for the fall season and Halloween.
As part of its “Blaze” package, guests can take advantage of Deluxe or King House accommodations, an American breakfast for two at the Biddle, and two VIP tickets to The Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze, starting at $349.
One the tri-state’s biggest, most exciting and electrifying events, The Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze guides guests through more than 5,000 individually hand-carved, illuminated jack o’ lanterns in an elaborate walk-through experience at Van Cortlandt Manor in Croton-on-Hudson. Both adults and children are able to meander through an historic, 18th-century riverside landscape and discover a breathtaking pumpkin display. This package is available October 5-6, 11-14, 17-20, 24-31 and November 1-3 and 8-11.
Guests can also take advantage of the same accommodations with two tickets to see Horseman’s Hollow at Philipsburg Manor in Sleepy Hollow, the town from which the new FOX TV series is characterized, starting at $359.
The historic property is transformed into a terrifying landscape ruled by the undead, the evil and the insane. Visitors begin walking a haunted trail, stumbling upon scary scenes in a town driven mad by the Headless Horseman. Elaborate costumes and the work of award-winning feature-film makeup artists make it all too real. This package is available October 5-6, 11-13, 18-20, 25-27 and November 1-2.
