  • Swim The Hudson for MS Add this event to your calendar

    When: 09/14/2008

    Swimmers will dive into the Hudson River to raise money for The National MS Society, Greater Southern Chapter. Swimmers can choose to do a 1, 2 or 3 mile swim from Croton Point Park to buoy markers in the Hudson Rivers. Swimmers are accompanied by volunteer kayakers with safety boats provided by the US Coast Guard, local police and fire boats and volunteers. Festivities on shore include a live DJ, games for children, great food and great fun for all spectators.

    Sunday Cost: $350 for Swimmer Registration

  • Tappen Zee Bike Tour for MS Add this event to your calendar

    One of the National MS Society, Southern NY Chapters most challenging events - the TZ Bike Tour offers cyclists of all levels the opportunity to enjoy the exhilarating experience of riding across the mighty Tappan Zee Bridge in a traffic free lane. This is the only time that the New York Thruway Authority clears a lane for cyclists, and it is all to benefit the National MS Society, Southern New York Chapter that serves people with MS and their caregivers in Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Orange and Sullivan Counties.

    Cost: Riders are required to pledge a minimum of $125. The registration fee is $20 per rider Location: Kraft Foods 555 S. Broadway Tarrytown, NY
