Lady of the Estate
Meet the new "Lady of the Estate." Lady is a frisky, playful black lab, who has just joined the team at the Tarrytown House Estate near White Plains. She was brought on board to help with a special issue...GEESE! If you've ever been to the Tarrytown House Estate, you know that we sit on 26 beautifully manicured acres in the heart of the Hudson Valley. The lush lawns throughout the hotel property are a tempting rest stop and snack bar for geese as they commute south in the winter and back north in the spring. In order to keep these unwanted "guests" at bay, we've used a service that brought a chase dog in weekly. Our lawns must be so tasty, that the weekly visit wasn't enough. Finally we decided to bring someone on the staff to handle this full time!
