Steve Sackman Named Regional Sales And Marketing Director
For Destination Hotels And Resorts


TARRYTOWN, New York — Steve Sackman has recently been named Regional Director of Sales and Marketing for Destination Hotels and Resorts.

In his new role, Sackman oversees all sales, marketing, advertising and public relations initiatives for two of DH&R's premier conference center properties, Tarrytown House Estate & Conference Center here, as well as the Hamilton Park Hotel & Conference Center in Morristown, NJ.

In making the announcement, Destination's Regional Director Joe Crimmins said, "Steve Sackman has just the right balance of hotel experience and sales and marketing background to help us develop a strong presence in the New York Metro area for our two new properties. We are delighted to have him join the Destination team."

Prior to joining Destination Hotels & Resorts, Sackman served two years as Director of Sales and Marketing for ARAMARK Harrison Lodging's National Accounts Office. He expanded the National Accounts office from a one city, two employee entity to a three city operation, with a team of 8 sales professionals. Sackman and his National Accounts team doubled revenues both years.

Previously, Steve worked for the Hilton Hotels Corporation at the Doubletree Guest Suites hotel in New York City's Times Square in a variety of sales and marketing positions, eventually rising to Director of Sales and Marketing. During his ten and a half -year tenure with Hilton, he created and coordinated key partnerships with American Girl and Disney Theatrical. In addition, he led the marketing cluster for Hilton Hotels in New York City.

Sackman has also held a number of positions in operations and sales at the Crowne Plaza Manhattan and the Grand Hyatt New York. He earned a bachelor's degree in Hospitality Administration from New York University.

A native New Yorker, Steve resides in Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
