Tarrytown, NY (May 2013) – The Tarrytown House Estate, located just 30 minutes from Midtown Manhattan in the heart of the Lower Hudson Valley, has announced the appointment of Jamieson Asselta of Mamaroneck as the hotel’s new Director of Sales.

Asselta has worked in the hospitality industry for 12 years. Prior to joining Tarrytown House Estate, he served as Director of Global Accounts at Omni Hotels & Resorts in Manhattan. He also served as Group & Catering Sales Leader at the Marriott Mid-Atlantic Regional Sales Office in Gaithersburg, Maryland and Senior Account Executive at The Orlando World Center Marriott with a remote office in Manhattan. He has worked with reputable properties, including the New York Marriott Marquis in Manhattan; the Boston Marriott Quincy in Massachusetts and The Ocean Place Conference Resort in Long Branch, New Jersey.
Asselta graduated from Fairfield University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business marketing. He has been involved in a number of professional affiliations including Meeting Professionals International, the Professional Convention Management Association, American Society of Association Executives, as well as the Hospitality and Sales Marketing Association. Asselta lives in Mamaroneck with his wife Colleen.
