What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to subscribe to up-to-date offers, in the form of feeds, based on your interests. The feed is sent through an RSS reader, such as My Yahoo! and appears as a link in your account. When the link is clicked on, you're brought to the Web site containing the offer in its entirety. Tarrytown House Estate Puts A Freeze on Spending with “Winter Warm-Up Weekend Getaway”
This winter, if the temperature dips to 32 degrees or below, guests at the Tarrytown House Estate will cash in with its “Winter Warm-Up Weekend Getaway.” Here’s how it works. If on the day that you check in for a two-night weekend stay, the temperature reaches 32 degrees or below in Tarrytown, as recorded by the National Weather Service, you will get a 32 percent reduction in the cost of your room rate. Tarrytown House Estate Employees Donate 819 pounds of food & $500 to the Food Bank for Westchester
Employees at Tarrytown House Estate recently collected 819 pounds of food items and contributed $500 to the Food Bank for Westchester to help support the non-profit organization’s efforts to help feed individuals and families in need during the holidays. The employees, divided into four teams, competed over the course of three weeks starting around Thanksgiving to collect the most amount of food, which was determined at a recent weigh-in held at the hotel. The winning team, From the Heart, was led by chef Chris Hettinger (center), which donated the winning cash prize of $500 to the Food Bank as well. Cellar 49 Unveils New Fall/Winter Menu -- Staff and Customers Enthusiastic About New Offerings
On a recent Wednesday afternoon, Executive Chef Chris Hettinger unveiled the anxiously awaited Fall/Winter menu for Tarrytown House management and wait staff. Hettinger and his staff prepared a serving of virtually every item on the menu, and presented the collection artfully on a long kitchen table, with the expertise of a team that had done this many times before.
