Tarrytown House Supports Breast Cancer Awareness!
October 20, 2013 was a warm, beautiful, sunny day. Perfect for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walkathon. The Tarrytown House Team showed up in full force at Manhattanville College in Purchase, NY, and the starting location for this event. The 5 mile fundraising walk took the thousands of walkers and participants through the picturesque streets of Westchester and Manhattanville and Purchase College.
One hundred year ago the American Cancer Society began this fight against cancer. Tarrytown House has proudly take part in this event for the last five years. This year we have raised over $3000 for the Making Strides event. The Tarrytown House Team continues to support this great cause and we look forward to the 2014 Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walkathon!
