Tarrytown House Estate Will Pay All Taxes on Final Bill for Special Tax Relief Weekend
Tax Relief Weekend Package in April
Tarrytown, NY (March 2011) April is income tax time but tax relief is on the way at the Tarrytown House Estate. Between April 1 and April 30, guests who take advantage of the Tax Relief package of just $119 per night won’t have to pay taxes for ALL charges incurred during their stay at the Estate. The taxes will be paid for by Tarrytown House Estate.
The Tax Relief rate is good for arrival on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday and it is nonrefundable. Reservations for Tax Relief will be available from Tuesday, March 29 to Thursday, March 31.
The tax savings are significant. In addition to hotel occupancy and local taxes, they include taxes on charges guests will incur when they dine at the on-premises Cellar 49, the Estate’s classic American Tavern. The restaurant offers great food as well as a wine cellar with unique selections.
The 26-acre hotel, managed by Destination Hotels & Resorts, offers guests a treasure-trove of amenities including beautifully landscaped surroundings and breathtaking views of the Hudson River, a fitness center open around the clock with state-of-the-art equipment, a racquetball court, an indoor pool, hot tub and sauna (open from 6 a.m. – 10 p.m.). With the arrival of warmer weather, guests can relax at the outdoor pool or play bocce, horseshoes and badminton. The villages of Tarrytown and Irvington are nearby and feature beautiful boutiques and shopping.
“If you have received a refund on your tax return this year, our Tax Relief Package is a great way to spend some of that money. And if you owe Uncle Sam, getting some tax relief is always welcomed news. Either way, it’s an opportunity for a wonderful and relaxing weekend,” said Anthony Amendola, Director of Sales and Marketing.
*Package available for arrival on Thursday, Friday or Saturday; higher rates may apply.
