How many hours do you offer for set-up?

Based on the size and scope of your program, the sales manager will review the meeting room availability for set up with you.

Can we ship to or drop things off at the venue beforehand?

Once you have committed to the Tarrytown House, the Conference Planning Manager will review the time, dates and shipping guidelines for all materials you wish to ship before your meeting. This ensures your materials are carefully stored and easily located on the day of your event.

Do you have a list of preferred suppliers/vendors?

Yes, Tarrytown House is a premier conference venue in the Historic Hudson Valley and we have aligned with the top vendors in the industry.

What furniture is included in the venue rental?

Tarrytown House offers various meeting room furnishings such as conference tables and ergonomic chairs and banquet tables and banquet chairs. The property inventory does fluctuate based on usage however, the sales manager and the conference-planning manager will review your meeting furniture needs with you.

Is the space available on our desired date?

The Tarrytown House offers conference and event professionals who will walk you through the property while listening to goals of your meeting. Once the manager has a clear understanding of your meeting requirements, he/she will guide you on which of the several space options would be optimal for your day. It is best to email sales@tarrytownhouseestate.com to set up a time meet with one of our professionals or to submit request via the website.

Do you have additional furniture on-site available to rent, e.g. chairs?

Tarrytown House is a scenic campus with several historic buildings on site. Some of the buildings have limited furniture, which can be rented for special events across the campus. However, we do have outside vendors, which offer a variety of furniture for hire options.

Are there any decoration restrictions or limitations?

At Tarrytown House, our focus is to protect our guests and the visitors. Guidelines for decorating is provided to you in advance to ensure safe and security of our guests as well as ensure our beautiful buildings remain untouched from damage from decorations.

Does your venue provide in-house A/V equipment, technicians and support, or will this need to be rented elsewhere?

PSAV is located on campus and supplies and manages all A/V need for conferences and meetings.

What kinds of internet capabilities does your venue have available for guests?

The Tarrytown House has 1GbG of WIFI available across the meeting rooms on campus. Meeting planners have the option to hardwire as well as use WIFI options. Our Director of It can discuss your IT needs for your program and assist you.

Is guest parking available? If so, is it free?

The Tarrytown House has plenty of parking spots on the 26-acre estate and offers self-parking complimentary. Meeting planners have the option of adding valet parking into their conference plan however this is an additional charge.
